Servo technology and plug & play design for maximum adaptability

A contract manufacturer in the chemical sector contacted us with a clear requirement: to manage, with a single machine, the production of very different batches. On one side, large volumes of oil-based products (such as lube oil); on the other, small batches of water-based products, such as windscreen washer fluids. The main request was therefore for an extremely flexible machine, able to adapt quickly and without complications to different production scenarios.
The challenge
As a contract manufacturer, the client does not always have standardized batches: sometimes they face large production runs, while other times only small quantities. In addition, when dealing with oil-based products, filling requires solutions that prevent waste, spill-out and cleaning difficulties.

The solution provided
To meet these needs, we designed a filling and capping monoblock on a single frame, equipped with:

Servo-controlled screw system, ensuring maximum precision and automated format change. It manages both large and small bottles with controlled transfer to prevent the “wave” effect (spill-out).

Pneumatic gates, used for small batches, to reduce format change costs and guarantee maximum flexibility.

Flowmeter filling system, ensuring precision and repeatability in dosing any type of liquid or semi-liquid product.

EVO single-head capper, a modern technology able to handle a wide variety of closures, communicating in real time with the controller and providing information on quality and consumption.

Plug & play solution for oil and water filling, allowing product changeover in just 10 minutes, without long washing or set-up processes.

Advanced HMI panel, for full process management, recipe creation, production analysis, data collection with MES connection, and operator support in troubleshooting.
