Client’s Need

A major international company in the home care sector selected Torq Packaging to design a production line combining efficiency, precision, and flexibility. The client required a solution capable of handling both foaming and non-foaming products, packaged in bottles of different sizes, while ensuring operational speed, consistent quality, and easy maintenance.

The Torq Packaging Solution

Torq Packaging designed and installed a fully integrated production line built to the highest standards of hygiene, durability, and performance. The line includes a linear electronic filler, a rotary mechanical capper, and a linear labeling machine. It was optimized to ensure quick format changes, easy maintenance, and continuous production, meeting the requirements of products with varying physical characteristics.

The linear electronic filler is the core of the system. Designed to handle both foaming and non-foaming products, the machine uses 12 filling valves with anti-drip diving nozzles, ensuring precise dosing without waste or excessive foam formation for sensitive products. Its stainless steel AISI 316L structure and integrated CIP (Clean-in-Place) system simplify cleaning and ensure maximum hygiene. The tool-free design allows format changes to be completed in less than 10 minutes, making production highly flexible.

The rotary mechanical capper is engineered to provide reliable closures on bottles of various sizes with screw caps. The Pick & Place system ensures precise cap placement, while magnetic capping heads automatically adjust torque for each format, ensuring uniform and secure closures. The robust structure and high-quality materials ensure long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.

The linear labeling machine ensures precise application of self-adhesive labels on both the front and back of shaped bottles. With dual labeling stations, the machine handles speeds of up to 3,600 bottles per hour while maintaining high precision. Entirely made of stainless steel AISI 304, it is designed for durability and continuous operation.

All machines in the line are designed to maximize ergonomics and ease of use. The HMI operator interface allows for precise monitoring and adjustment of all parameters, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
