Client Needs

The client required a fully integrated packaging line capable of managing the entire process — from bottle orientation to end-of-line operations.

Key requirements included:

  • handling multiple bottle formats (from 700 ml to 3 litres)
  • managing both foaming and non-foaming products
  • processing different screw cap types
  • ensuring high efficiency and smooth line synchronization

In addition, the client needed a single partner able to oversee the entire project and deliver a reliable, fully coordinated solution.

The Torq Packaging Solution

Torq Packaging developed a complete turnkey line, designed to ensure seamless integration between all stages of the process.

The line begins with a bottle unscrambler equipped with a vision-guided delta robot, which detects the position of each bottle and automatically orients it, ensuring correct alignment before entering the filling phase.

At the core of the system is a linear electronic filler with magnetic flowmeters, designed to handle both foaming and non-foaming products with high precision.
Equipped with diving nozzles, the filler operates from the bottom up without contacting the product, ensuring hygienic filling and minimizing foam formation.

The machine can handle up to 10 different bottle formats, ranging from 700 ml to 3 litres, reaching speeds of up to 60 bottles per minute (on 1-litre formats).

Beyond format flexibility, the filler is optimized for fast and efficient product changeovers.
Thanks to intuitive recipe management, operators can quickly switch between different products, reducing downtime and minimizing product waste during cleaning and transition phases.

The capping system is designed to handle five different screw cap types, ensuring consistent and reliable closure across all formats.

The packaging process is completed by a rotary labelling machine, applying front and back labels with high precision while maintaining efficiency at higher production speeds.

The line is fully integrated with an end-of-line system, including case erector, case packer, case sealer, check weigher, and conveying system, ensuring a smooth and continuous production flow.
