Compact versatility for cosmetics: our smart answer to the oil/water filling challenge

One of our U.S. customers in the personal care industry (shampoos, creams, oils, etc.) reached out with a specific request: avoid cross-contamination between oil-based and water-based products while making the cleaning process as simple as possible.

The issue? Oil is notoriously difficult to clean from the filling circuit, and residues could compromise future batches.

Our answer: a compact, intelligent… and split filling system

We designed a compact dual-lane filling machine featuring:

A single set of massic flowmeters, alternating between two transfer lanes.
Divider conveyors at the machine’s entry and exit, to split and remerge the bottles.
A single but highly versatile capper able to handle:
- dosing pumps
- spray pumps
- screw caps

The result: a space-saving layout that fits tight production floors without compromising performance or flexibility.

Product changeover? The skid takes care of it. Actually, two.

To fully separate oil and water products, we supplied two independent skids:

Hygienic stainless steel frames complete with dedicated tanks and pumps
One for oil-based products
One for water-based products

Fast changeover, zero cross-contamination, and maximum hygiene.
